Build / WordPress
A website with a job to do.
A commercial website should help the right visitor understand your offer and take a useful next step. We design around that journey, then build a WordPress site your team can manage.
Start with the business, then the pages.
Before choosing layouts, we identify your services, audience and the decisions visitors need to make. An activity operator may need a clear route to dates and booking. A service company may need a focused explanation and a qualified enquiry. The structure follows those needs.
A defined project, not an open-ended promise
The proposal defines page count, copywriting, integrations, revisions and handover. Hosting, domains, third-party subscriptions and ongoing support are identified separately. No existing website is replaced without an agreed release plan.
Scope of work
What we can work on together.
The final proposal states the selected activities, delivery boundaries and responsibilities.
01
Commercial structure
A homepage, service pages and contact routes organised around your offer. Navigation and calls to action have a defined purpose.
02
Responsive design
Layouts, readable type and usable controls across desktop, tablet and mobile. Important information should not disappear on a smaller screen.
03
Editable content
WordPress pages, articles and reusable content patterns. Your team can update wording and add material without changing the theme code.
04
WooCommerce integration
An assessed WooCommerce setup where the business needs it. Reservum can be scoped as part of a connected booking project.
05
Forms and measurement
A form matched to the enquiry, clear confirmation and a plan for measuring useful actions when authorised.
06
Performance and handover
Appropriately sized images, restrained dependencies and practical documentation for content and ongoing management.
The process
A practical sequence.
Review useful decisions at each stage and keep the work connected to the business need.
Define
Agree the audience, offer, pages and conversion path.
Prepare
Gather approved text, photography, brand assets and operational details.
Build
Create the responsive working site in an independent environment.
Review
Check content and key journeys, then agree any authorised release.
What we need to get started.
- Your offer, priorities and target customers
- Access arrangements for an approved working environment
- Confirmed contact details and business information
- Text, images and brand assets with permission to use them

How much can my WordPress website be customised?
The website project can define your page structure, visual identity, content layouts and conversion paths around your business. We agree the essential pages and reusable components first, then distinguish content editing from changes requiring development. Examples include an activity page, a service comparison and a contact form with relevant enquiry types. The proposal specifies revision rounds, supplied materials and integrations. This makes the result manageable after handover and prevents a visually ambitious design from depending on unnecessary plugins or constant developer intervention.
Can you redesign my existing website instead of replacing everything?
Yes. A redesign can retain useful content, a suitable WordPress foundation and established page addresses while improving structure, readability and the route to an enquiry. The starting review identifies what works and what creates avoidable friction. We prepare changes separately and map any addresses that need to change. Existing search visibility, forms and integrations deserve attention before release. Reuse is a practical decision: keeping a component is valuable when it remains secure, maintainable and appropriate for the new design.
Can a new website include an online booking system?
Yes. Website design and a Reservum suitability review can form one project so activity information and the booking journey are planned together. The website should answer practical questions before asking visitors to choose a date or make contact. The booking part still needs its own requirements, including availability rules, participant information and payments. The proposal separates the website deliverables from the confirmed product configuration and any extra work. A combined project does not remove the need to establish compatibility or approve release changes.
